WEEE Directive and Registration

The products placed on the market by Schäfter+Kirchhoff can usually be repaired. Nevertheless, if products are to be disposed of, please note that used electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of in household waste. Used devices must be collected separately and taken to an appropriate collection point.

In accordance with the legal requirements (WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU, Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment), Schäfter+Kirchhoff products have been recognized by the responsible German foundation EAR (Elektro- Altgeräte Register) as B2B (Business to Business) products. Schäfter+Kirchhoff is registered under the WEEE Reg. No. DE 65963161 (see also imprint).

2. Disposal of old devices

In the commercial sector (B2B), disposal is subject to individual contractual agreements. However, Schäfter+Kirchhoff has made arrangements for the disposal of equipment that Schäfter+Kirchhoff has placed on the market within the EU:

We offer two options for disposing of old devices:

1. Contact our recycling partner: If a device manufactured by Schäfter+Kirchhoff needs to be disposed of, please contact: https://www.take-e-way.de/leistungen/elektrogesetz-weee-elektrog/b2b-altgeraete-ruecknahme-entsorgung, fill out the questionnaire and follow the instructions given there.

2. Contact Schäfter + Kirchhoff: Please write to info@sukhamburg.com to receive a return form.

Note: The return form is only used to assign the disposal to Schäfter+Kirchhoff. It is not a parcel label for free shipping. The shipment of the old device must be carried out by you independently and at your own expense.

Please also note that we only take back products from Schäfter+Kirchhoff. Products from other manufacturers will be returned at the sender's expense.

3. Data protection notes

In general, no sensitive personal data can be stored on our products by default (exceptions are products that are delivered with e.g. personal computers that include storage media). If personal data is stored or added to products in any case, it is the customer's responsibility to remove it before disposal.
