New Feature - Corrosion Inspector with machine learning algorithm

Evaluating corrosion phenomena using machine learning
The Corrosion Inspector from Schäfter+Kirchhoff scans corrosion test panels and evaluates them quickly and objectively. The automatic measurement of corrosion structures is completed in 5 seconds. The system delivers a very high-contrast image with a resolution of 0.022 mm per pixel. The implemented evaluation methods comply with international standards for filiform corrosion, degree of delamination and corrosion, cross-cut, degree of blistering and multi-impact tests.
The latest software version includes a trainable machine learning algorithm for better separation of actual corrosion and disturbing background effects. Once trained, the software applies the algorithm to following samples. Using that, even difficult panels can be processed efficiently.
